The Ida Baker Marching Band has long been overlooked. Three singular pictures in the year book where we are simply in the background. Being treated unfairly compared to other sports teams. No mention of our band program at all on our school's website. We work very hard to make our marching show the best, even winning many trophies. We practice for long hours every week even weekends and before the  start of school year,  yet we receive no praise or recognition from the school. This petition was made to hopefully gain enough signatures so that the school beings to take our band seriously and treat us properly.
