Canada has a large Muslim population that contributes positively to the workforce, economy, and multiculturalism. For equity, it is only fair that our significant religious holidays, Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adha, are recognized as public holidays so our children do not have to miss school and parents do not have to take leave from work.
