We, the undersigned residents and voters of DeSoto, Texas, are calling for the recall of the Mayor in order to restore public trust, accountability, and responsible leadership at City Hall.

The office of Mayor belongs to the people. Residents expect leadership that prioritizes transparency, sound decision-making, respectful governance, and the long-term interests of the entire community.

Over time, many residents have expressed growing concerns regarding leadership decisions, governance practices, and the overall direction of the city. Community members have attended meetings, raised questions, and asked for stronger accountability and responsiveness from elected leadership. For many voters, those concerns remain unresolved.

The recall process exists to give citizens a lawful and democratic pathway to determine whether current leadership continues to reflect the will and confidence of the community.

This petition is not about politics or personalities it is about ensuring that DeSoto’s leadership remains accountable to the residents it serves.
