A Punjab State Level competition on Veer Bal Divas 2025 has been announced to be held on 12.12.2025 at Ludhiana. In this at point 5. A Fancy Dress Competion on Sahibzadey, Mata Gujri ji ,shahid Bhagat Singh and BandaSingh Bahadur theme has been called for in circular issued by President of Child Welfare council Punjab where teams of all districts of Punjab is to take part and compete.

To imitate   Sahibzadey and sikh Gurus family members including important Sikhs like Banda Bahadur as living human persons in competition like this,  is against basic tenets of Sikhism and it amounts to sacrilege. 
It is serious sacrilege of Sikh traditions , earlier many movies were not allowed to run because of their such action of Imitation of Sikh Gururs and their family members and very sacred  Sikhs in person .

President child welfare council Punjab , who is Governor Punjab itself ,should direct its secretary to immediately withdraw this circular on subject of Veer Bal Divas or amend circular to remove clause 5 announcing fancy dress competion on this account.
