We are calling for the recall of Mayor Rachel Proctor and Councilmember Andre Byrd. Our community deserves leadership that is transparent, accountable and responsive to our needs. Unfortunately, under Mayor Proctor's administration and with Andre Byrd's complicity, we have experienced a lack of these qualities. This petition is not a personal attack but rather a call to uphold the standards and expectations set for our public officials. By signing this petition, you are voicing your concern about the current leadership and demanding change for our city. Notes: Per the City Charter, to sign, you must be registered to vote in DeSoto, TX. When signing the petition, please include your FULL name in the "first name" space (as it appears on your voter card) and your birthdate in the "last name" space to be verified as a registered voter in DeSoto, TX. Volunteers will have to capture your handwritten signature at a later date so please provide your email address if you'd like for them to visit you to sign the physical petition or to be notified of community events that you can stop by to sign. A hand written signature is required.
