Back in 2020, my partner and I watched as the Turtle Creek Mall was destroyed by a tornado along with many in North East Arkansas. It destroyed some amazing places to shop and hang out. The only places that survived were Target, J.C. Penny, and Dillards. Now the closest mall is almost two hours away, in Memphis, and where the Mall used to be is a big, empty fenced off lot. I would like to ask Jonesboro and surrounding communities to get together to rebuild and encourage businesses to come or come back to the Turtle Creek Mall.
