Stage 1 is complete. Now it's time to continue the vision.

Koonung Secondary College has just shown what is possible when government invests in our schools and our children. 

After years of advocacy and planning, Stage 1 of Koonung's Master Plan has been completed, transforming the school's Middle Years facilities and creating a modern learning environment for our children.

But Stage 1 is only the beginning.

We are calling for the investment to continue.

The next step is Stage 2 — a proposed three-storey STEAM Centre supporting learning in science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics, while encouraging collaboration, creativity, innovation and critical thinking.

This isn't simply about building a new facility. It's about investing in our children's future.

Koonung Secondary College is at the heart of our community, with a proud history of delivering strong educational outcomes. Our children deserve learning environments that reflect the quality of education they receive and equip them to thrive in the opportunities of the future.

Our call to political leaders.

We call on the next Victorian Government to:

1. Fund Stage 2 of Koonung Secondary College's master plan — the proposed STEAM Centre.
2. Commit to continued investment in the remaining stages of the master plan.
3. Provide a clear pathway for delivering the long-term vision for Koonung.

We also ask all candidates and political parties contesting the 2026 Victorian election to publicly state their position on the future of Koonung Secondary College.

As a community, we will be voting with Koonung's future in mind.
