When we were first sent home in March there was some leniency with how well faculty and students were able to preform with fully online school. Everyone knew the situation was difficult, so professors assigned not as demanding work and a pass/fail grading system was an option to all students. Now with the fall 2020 semester, we are expected to preform in hybrid classes as if this semester is normal. The fact is, it’s not. The amount of work assigned to us heavily varies between classes. Some professors assign much more than how many credit hours a class is actually worth.  Classes with curves are messed up because many people cheat. This is not anywhere near a normal semester. This semester is, by definition, disruptive. So please give the option to grade pass/fail. It would be very beneficial to many students in this very difficult fall semester.
