Every year at Falmouth High School's Graduation, if a student is in a National Honors Society, they will have that distinction read off when they walk on stage. But, this year there is a change in that process. To be more "inclusive", they are not reading off National Honors Society distinction. Instead, they are announcing Future Plans.  

As students, we work hard to be inducted into these Societies and deserve recognition. 

I understand why some may want to be more inclusive as not every student would have an honors society read off. But, to refute this idea, every student can join a National Honors Society. There is no barrier blocking students from being eligible and joining.
