It was a lovely evening, I was travelling from my home in Shivaji Nagar, Bhopal to the Upper Lake with my friends. Suddenly, amidst the peaceful serenity of the blowing wind at the lake, I listen to this song-teaser played on the radio with catchy music and THE Arijit's voice "Kesariya tera ishq hai piya ..." and we all fell in love with the song then and there. Since that day I was waiting for the whole song to be released. It meant a lot to me, I invested a lot of time asking my friends whether the whole song has been released or not, searching for the song, and being scammed by fraud YouTubers who captioned their video as "Kesariya Full Song - Arijit".

Today when the song was released, I decided to stop all my work and swim in the river of the melody of Arijit and Pritam combo, but suddenly I started drowning when I heard "Love storiyan..." in the song. I could not stop thinking why in the ocean of words from Hindustani language (hindi+urdu) the words "Love storiyan" was chosen, and the word "storiyan" does not even belong to any class of languages. I am extremely disappointed with the whole "Kesariya Team" on their decision to go with "Love storiyan...". Although, the lyricist of the song, Mr Amitabh Bhattacharya, is a very reputed poet/writer/lyricist, but it is in human nature to commit "galtiyan". 

However, I felt some relief when I learned from social media that a lot of people like me have felt cheated by the lyrics of the song. This is because almost everyone got lured with the pure words like "Kesariya", "ishq", "piya" but no one in their wildest dreams could've imagined "storiyan", and to add fuel to the flame, it sometimes even sounds "is-storiyan", this kills the mood of the listener.

To conclude, it is my sincere request to Pritam da, Arijit sir, Amitabh ji and the whole team to re-record the "love storiyan" part and release the new track for the listeners. If requires they can conduct a poll on social media for alternative words, since the frustrated listener today has become a poet himself, and is replacing "love storiyan" in their minds (after removing headphones) while listening to the song.
