Re-Open Nickelodeon Studios in Orlando Studios Florida
The Issue
Picture the 90's. What do you see? If you grew up in the 90's, one of the 1st things on your mind is probably the great shows on television, specifically the television shows on Nickelodeon. Back in the 90's, many of the shows that you came to love were probably filmed in just one place, Nickelodeon Studios in Universal Studios Florida. Of the shows that came out of these studio's doors, the most popular were:
Clarissa Explains It All (1991–1993)
Kenan & Kel (Seasons 1 & 2 Only)
Nickelodeon's Total Panic
Double Dare 2000
Family Double Dare (1990, 1992)
Super Sloppy Double Dare (1989 Nickelodeon run only)
Super Special Double Dare
Figure It Out (1997-1998)

Legends of the Hidden Temple

Other than being a filming studio, the Nickelodeon Studios building was a place where children could go to enjoy the full Nickelodeon experience. They could get a behind the scenes look of the studios, try Nickelodeon created Gak in the kitchen, and play in a Game Lab designed just for kids.
By 2000, the Nick Studios was losing guests, so on April 30, 2005, Nickelodeon Studios closed its doors... The time capsule, which was supposed to be left untouched until 2042, was moved to the Nick Hotel and everything Nick slowly disappeared from Universal Studios Florida.
Now, the building that used to be loved by millions, is now a stage for the Blue Man Group, but many parts of the building are still in the condition they were in when it closed down. Our goal is to come together and get Universal Studios and Viacom (Current owner of Nickelodeon) to come together and restore Nick Studios to its original glory.
