After China re-opened its borderline, millions of people wanted to travel to China after 3 years.  However, it is so slow and so difficult to get a Chinese visa from Chinese Ambassy in Washington, D.C.  Houston and around cities have over half millions of Chinese Americans, they are so eager to go to China to visit their parents and relatives.  

With the current pace of getting a visa from US Ambassy in Washington, D.C., it may take up to 3 or 4 weeks to get a Visa.  Considering the dire COVID situation in China, many China-Born Americans may not have a chance to see their aged parents for the last time.  It would be greatly helpful if the China Consulate in Houston is allowed to re-open and start the Visa service immediately.  Furthermore, because of the close economic tie between Texas and China, it would be great to have the consulate in Houston re-open to serve US citizens in general to get visa to China. 

Because of the urgency to quickly get a Chinese visa for citizens in Texas and around states, please let the China Consulate in Houston to re-open right away.
