In our beloved community of Pitcairn, PA, we uphold the values of honesty, integrity, and safety. Recently, however, concerns have surfaced regarding Officer Trevor Lyles that deeply unsettle these core values. As a community, we cannot progress if we harbor fear towards those meant to protect and serve us.

Officer Lyles' actions have been questioned due to increasing incidents involving profiling, speeding, and untruthful interactions with residents. These behaviors are not aligned with the standards we hold here in Pitcairn. Every resident deserves to feel safe and supported, not threatened by the very institution that vows to ensure their safety.

There are numerous accounts within the community about encounters that left individuals feeling disrespected or unfairly treated. Such interactions only serve to erode the trust and confidence we must have in our local law enforcement. Trust is foundational, and its absence breeds insecurity and unrest.

We demand that the Chief of Police takes immediate action by re-evaluating Officer Lyles' role within our community. It's imperative for the peace and unity of Pitcairn that decisive steps are taken. Officer Lyles could potentially find a role better suited to him elsewhere, allowing us to restore our community's harmony.

Together, we can ensure that Pitcairn remains a place where honesty and safety thrive. It starts with holding our officers accountable and ensuring they reflect the values we cherish.
