The Coalition's Health and Social Care Bill is on the brink of being passed through the Lords. This bill promises to radically restructure and "liberate" [read: sell off] the NHS, and is now opposed by nearly all the professional health bodies, including the RCN.

Ed Milliband now says we have "three months to save the NHS" and is calling for a cross-party campaign to stop this bill.

As the largest professional health body in the UK, the Royal College of Nursing can lead this campaign.

As RCN members, we the undersigned pledge our support to the RCN in opposing this dangerous Bill and call on them to announce a national demonstration, and to encourage other professional bodies to do the same.
