PTO and higher wages for RC Group workers during Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic

PTO and higher wages for RC Group workers during Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic
The Issue
The undersigned members of Taco Bell, KFC, Pizza Huts and Long John Silvers of The RC Group bring forth this document to bring to light the current status of the times. As of 3/25/2020, the total numbers of cases in Georgia is 1387, 438 of those being hospitalized as well as 47 deaths. Fulton county reports 204 cases as well as Dekalb and Dougherty reporting 125 and 123 cases respectively. As of 3/17, a week ago, the number of detected infected has exponentially increased from 197 to a now much larger 1387 and due to the nature of COVID-19 (Corona-virus), this number is not accurate. Detection usually happens around the time symptoms get severe enough to require hospitalization, but infection can happen two weeks before symptoms appear. Due to this, it is imperative that RC Group give those workers who are not working paid time off and offer higher pay to those who are working in this perilous times and under these hazardous conditions. For those who are working, the only protection against COVID-19 are gloves and sanitizer. This is a time of great need for the American people and with this document the undersigned workers of the Alliance for RC Group Workers hope to bring relief to those during this hardship.
The employees of RC Groups and its affiliates demand higher pay (3$ /hour minimum added or more )as well as better protection from COVID-19 for those who are working during this pandemic and paid time off for those who are not working for the duration of March and April
