Rashay’s has released a new menu that no longer includes turkey rashers; they are no longer available on their burgers, in salads or as part of the breakfast menu and not available as an optional extra. Staff at my local restaurant told me it’s because people complained it wasn’t real bacon. Rashay’s is a halal restaurant and does not sell pork products and have always had it clearly marked on their menu that the ingredient was turkey rashers and not bacon. 

To remove the option of turkey rashers, I think this is an over reaction to these comments. I don’t follow a halal diet but like lots of people I choose not to eat pork and the option of adding turkey rashers to my meal was the biggest attraction of eating at the restaurant - something I do pretty much every week.

Customers are not going to get bacon at Rashay’s so those that want it won’t be any happier with the menu change but those of us who enjoyed turkey rashers now can’t have that option.

This petition is to show Rashay’s that we want the choice of having turkey rashers as an option on their menu and that they should be reinstated straightaway.
