Justice for Eric Hicks

Justice for Eric Hicks
The Issue
Mr. Eric Hicks was recently charged by the Archdale Police Department for, larceny, Injury to Personal Property and Possession of Stolen Property. The charging Officer was B. Thompson.
Mr. Hicks was asked by a citizen to help him remove a political sign that had no permission to be on private property. The sign belongs to Sheriff Greg Seabolt who is currently suing Eric Hicks because he said bad things about him on Facebook and claiming slander. Mr. Hicks ran against Sheriff Seabolt in 2018 and has since reported multiple issues of misconduct to the NC State Bureau of Investigations. Mr. Hicks has been a watch dog.
Mr. Hicks has audio of a conversation with the property owner stating she gave no permission. Mr. Hicks told the investigating officer same. Sheriff Seabolt pulled his weight to place revenge on Hicks. There was a Seabolt supporter on scene recording, that subject never called 911 nor alerted the property owner. The sign was returned and no intent to deprive the owner of property was present.
The case law in NC is simple, you have to deprive the owner of property and if you believe that you were not stealing due ti information obtained then it's not theft. Mr. Hicks was helping the renter of the property who informed him sign was not legally on property, property was returned. The elements of larceny were not met.
Eric Hicks was charged even when Officer Thompson admitted the owner gave multiple stories.
I ask District Attorney Andrew Gregson to dismiss all charges against Eric Hicks and the other subject
SHERIFF SEABOLT USED HIS POWER TO VIOLATE THE US CONSTITUTION.
