Social media is now a platform for everyone to be the judge and jury. This has created a cancel culture which often ostracises individuals and groups without real evidence. 

As of today, Till Lindemann and Rammstein have faced a number of career-shattering sanctions:

— suspended by Universal Music

— Till has been dropped by his publishing house Kiepenheuer & Witsch (based solely on their opinion of what his video is about)

— the public are petitioning to not have the band play in their cities/countries

All of this, despite being in the preliminary stages of an investigation with no concrete evidence.  

Let’s not forget: “Every person accused of a crime is presumed to be innocent unless and until his or her guilt is established beyond a reasonable doubt”.

This is a petition to stand against trial by social media. It is in support of Rammstein and Till Lindemann who have suffered immensely because of cancel culture and defamation of character without proof or a trial.
