People worldwide are standing up for what's right, especially students. As we approach the 76th year of occupation in Palestine and the genocide continues, Colgate students have come together to demand that our institution stand on the right side of history. We, Colgate students, have decided to protest because we believe that Palestinians, like anyone else, have the right to exist in their homeland with autonomy and dignity. The legacy of student protests backs us. From the civil rights movement to the antiwar movement during the 70s. As we demand that the US government demand a ceasefire and divest from Israel, We call for Colgate University to: 

1. Disclose all investments to Israel and its subsidiaries.
2. Divest from companies that support, fund, or arm Israel and its subsidiaries.
3. Acknowledge the genocide by Israel that is happening to Palestinians.
4. Protect all protestors from academic discipline, retaliation, and discrimination.
5. Allow the fair and just organization of students against genocide.
