We petition the Raleigh City Council to allow short-term rentals through companies like Airbnb. We sign this petition to voice our concern that by banning short-term rentals, the Raleigh City Council could be unintentionally damaging tourism, business development, jobs, and tax revenue here in the City.

As a city of innovation, we request that the City Council seek out a strategic and creative solution that address the Raleigh/Airbnb/short term rental issue in a way that powerfully demonstrates to the media and business community on a local and national level that Raleigh is a 21st-century city that welcomes and embraces new ideas and leading-edge advancements in technology and business.
