Had a court charge for forgery because i signed the wrong form during a traffic stop. This was in Chillicothe ohio.  The court proceded to charge even though it was a simple mistake and i was in fault for signing wrong paper.  This happened right when i had started raising canes in chillicothe ohio. Now almost 3 years later raising canes corp merged with the franchise canes i worked at in chillicothe ohio.  Me and my partner opened canes around ohio and gave everything to them. Now they do this to us.   Now we are at wits end not knowing what to do or who to talk with. Also after the day we were fired we were asked to work until the 21st of june until the merger was finalized. How can we work if we have been fired. It dont make any sense.  And day we were let go as we were going to the car the manager Mike McClaskey ran out and already had us a job making more than what we made there. How could he already have us a job if like he said he was unaware of anything.  I feel as if it was a witch hunt. They also fired a general manager who was with canes 5 or 7 years. We are so lost and dont know what to do. Our life was canes and its just like they have just thrown us out to the wolves. Todd Graves CEO of Raising Canes avoids all questions about LGBTQ issues. There has got to be some reason Raising Canes corp is firing those individuals and using what they can find on them against them so they can be fired. The ones that fired us was General Manager Michael McClaskey and Regional Vice president Samuel Pope.
