Last year WHSmith staff’s hourly wage was raised 2.2% above the minimum wage, for a total of £10.65 an hour. This year the hourly wage has raised to £11.50, which is now only 0.5% above minimum wage.

The UK consumer prices were measured to be 3.4% higher in February 2024 than a year before. 

This petition is to raise the hourly rate for WHSmith Staff outside of London to £12, to match the current UK Living wage.
