The wages at Walmart are not enough to live on.  We earn billions for the company and cannot afford the cost of groceries, transportation, and a home.  We deserve better.  We are standing together to demand higher starting wages.  People with tenure deserve even more.  The average Walmart worker makes about $15 an hour.  This year, the company may be giving out $0.30 raises to some workers and nothing to others.  Pay us fair wages!  All of us, in every state.  We are standing together to demand that our starting wages increase to $25 an hour.  This is our life and we shouldn't be forced to beg for a living wage in exchange for the work that we do.
