Raise the Minimum Wage in Pennsylvania to $15 per Hour OR MORE!!!!

The Issue

As a marooned resident of Pennsylvania, I'm deeply concerned about my fellow lower-class families who are perpetually mired in hardships, endeavoring to scrape together a living. Our current minimum wage stands at a meager $7.25 per hour, a pittance that is obviously far from sufficient. It's high time we rally for reform.

Consider the fast-food industry in our state—it unabashedly pays workers a maximum wage of $13 per hour, exploiting the inadequacies of our current minimum wage. This is not survival money. This is pennies thrown disdainfully into the hands of the industrious, of the deserving. This is the plight of countless families, not just my own.

Pennsylvania's minimum wage has been stagnating since 2009, while inflation and the cost of living have steadily increased. Eradicating this expanding financial chasm between the rich and the poor is key to providing a strong floor for all wage earners, ensuring families are elevated above the poverty line and given the chance to thrive, to live a life free of monetary shackles.

The call is clear—raise the minimum wage in Pennsylvania to at least $15 per hour. Join me in this fight. Stand up for a stronger Pennsylvania where everyone has a fair shake at prosperity. Sign the petition. Let your voice be heard. Together, we can effect transformative change.
