Following the recent incident at the enyobeni tarvern were we saw over 20 teenagers dying at the tarvern and analysing the high level of under age drinking in our communities, it is of great concern just how our youth is abusing alcohol and its even of a greater concern how school children are out at night in clubs, pubs and tarverns drinking their lives away. 

As we head into the festive season please help me put pressure on the government to pass the bill to amend the age restriction for sale and consumption of alcohol from 18 to 21 

Getting the government to amend this before the festive season will keep our children out of liquor stores, clubs, tarverns and pubs, will help reduce alcohol abuse in teenagers and will keep our daugthers and sisters safe from those looking to exploit them when they are intoxicated. This change will save millions of lives
