When is enough, ENOUGH?? Hello my name is Cory, I am a husband and father of two.. ages 5 and 6. I am a United States veteran and trained with firearms. I am a avid gun owner and avid 2nd amendment supporter, avid hunter.. but something needs to Change! This week yet again, 21 people were killed including 19 INNOCENT children!! All due to a mentally ill eighteen year old high school student. He was able to legally purchase 2 AR-15’s when he turned 18. This is insane! 
I understand being able to purchase a hunting rifle, but a rifle that holds a high-capacity magazine is a whole different story. I believe an 18 year old civilian is not mentally mature and responsible enough to possess one of these rifles.   I hope this can be a change in the right direction. It may not stop all mass shootings or prevent it from happening. But I believe it will make it harder for these acts of evil to be carried out! I know some of y’all will us the “shall not be infringed” term, but this is deeper than that! Other things I might add are better mental health resources in this country, better security at schools if they would like to keep it a “gun free zone”. We need someone protecting our children at school like us fathers do at home! Also we as parents need to start being more accountable and involved in our kids lives. If you see something, or don’t think something is right.. do something about it!
