The community at Residences on Bedford (1425 & 1435 Bedford Street) suffer from serial box thieves.

There have been many thefts, many police reports, and many times that a package has been stolen in this community.

We are hard workers, a parent, a teenager, a grandparent, and just someone who worked really hard for that nice dress online. Imagine a package whether it’s a gift or an object being stolen. As a community who works to provide for their families please join together to make our building a better place to live in.

There needs to be accountability and with your help we can make the change needed to stop these criminals and their actions. I propose a new package delivery system. Every package should be ID checked and the property should have a role to fulfill the security. How hard it is to have someone check IDs before a package is released?

It takes one person to start a change but change happens with numbers and with your support we can bring awareness that can lead to the measures we are asking for.

If this petition can get enough signatures; this can be taken to more serious measures accountable to the landlord. Keep in mind, that landlords can be liable for criminal acts by third parties if they’re on notice and not properly securing the building.
