Minimum wage in Missouri is currently $11.15 an hour. With housing, grocery and living price contantly rising- its impossible to live as we are. Now, if we were to have a raise of only $2.35, we would have a min. wage of $13.50 an hour. I know what you're thinking, "inflation is going to suck if we rise by a whole 2 dollars+!!" But in reality, it's only going to raise inflation by less than 0.5%. We need this rise in pay though; we have to push for this, even in the minimal inflation that comes with this- it'll save lives, homes, and starving families. In the St.Louis area, homelessness is exceedingly, and dangerously rising. Fight for strangers, family, friends, and most importantly yourself- sign the petition and change lives.
