Racial Profiling in Yadkin County

The Issue

A bill has been introduced (HB 343) similar to the nationally recognized arizona bill (SB 1070)in North Carolina. Detaining civilians for merely "looking" hispanic is racial profiling and is therefore unconstitutional. Additionally, the bill also proposes that allies of undocumented individuals be punished for transporting them, and are encouraged to report cases to ICE.

You, as a Yadkin County local, are entitiled to take action, not only as a favor, but as a responsability. Primordially, the immigrant labor force is crucial here in the county of Yadkin and HB 343 would, in turn, affect the local markets only negatively. Please consider signing the petition and calling your representatives, urging them to deny the bill.
