The ICONIC pedway leading up to Wembley Stadium has served millions of football fans and concert goers for almost 50 years, and are set to be replaced by a set of stairs and some lifts for wheelchair users, which as we know from Wembley Park Station, can be prone to breaking down. On top of accessibility problems, thousands of people trying to go up and down stairs could be very dangerous. Quintain (developers and owners of area around Wembley Stadium) have already ruined the iconic walk up to Wembley stadium by building large blocks of flats in the way of the view of the stadium, and now they are getting rid of this iconic piece of history. Although the demolition has already started let's do everything we can to put a stop to it before the ramps and this iconic piece of history are gone forever, Wembley will never be the same without them.
