QuikTrip should invest in placing Recycling bins outside of their gas stations to boost traffic as well as give back to the environment. As a person who is driving 6-10 hours a day, constantly stopping at a QT, I have really started to notice the amount of recyclable items that people are dumping into QT trash bins- coffee cups, old receipts, water bottles, soda cans. Imagine, next to those trash bins at QT, a Recycling bin. Recycle plastic bottles, paper, and cans. As recycling saves energy it reduces greenhouse gas emissions by lowering amounts sent to landfills. Landfills can contribute to chemicals going into the soil and water, making for a more harmful and dangerous environment. When fresh resources are needed, natural habitats in the environment are destroyed.

Gasoline is one of the most damaging things our current society is refusing to get rid of. While there is hope for a better future in the sense of fewer greenhouse emissions polluting the atmosphere by producing more electric vehicles, much work and effort is still needed. Global warming exists because of the increasingly high amount of emissions going into our atmosphere every day. Global warming is going to continue to get worse, we can only slow it down by making necessary adjustments.
