Ukranian families with their pets are seeking refuge in the UK.

Wales is preventing families (human&animals) staying together. As a person who fled there own home country in the same way as a particular ukranian family, parents, children, animals, all in one car, i know what its like with regards to the uncertainty and fear of a new home land. By forcing animals to be taken away from the family and put into quarantine greatly enhances the mental and physical anguish suffered by the family especially the children.

The animals have already suffered war and horrific traumas which we would not put on a human being, so why do we force them to suffer more?

Acknowledgement of special conditions with regards to refuge animals, quarantine rules should either be waived or reduced and if not quarantine should be in the area which the familiy resides and not in england! Families should have access to visiting their animals ensuring the well-being of both human family and animal family.

Welsh governement wants people to support ukranian refugees by opening their homes. Welsh families have opened their arms and their hearts to ukranian families including their ANIMALS but the welsh government, who has the power to intervine in regards to quarantine requirements refuses to do so. Scotland and England have already made adjustments so why cant the welsh government open their hearts and facilities to ensure families stay together?

If this petition is succesful I would happily go to the senate and fight for it, if unsuccessful I will campaign until I am.
