As workers at Grand Central shopping center, is it ridiculous that we are paying $7.50 a day to work at the center, this equals to just under $150 a month just to work here, a cost that cannot be claimed back on tax.   

To make it worse, we can only park on the roof so if there was severe weather we would either have to choose to pay around $20 so we could move our cars under cover or risk hail damage to our cars.

Retail workers in major shopping centers at the Gold Coast or even Brisbane usually are given free parking or a small fee of around $3 a day to park for work. Why are we workers in rural Toowoomba paying more than those who work on the Gold Coast or Brisbane? The same company that owns Robina Town Centre on the Gold Coast owns Grand Central, yet Robina retail workers don't pay any fee for working at the center. 

We understand that we are given a less daily fee for parking than a normal customer, but paying more than a cup of coffee per day is ridiculous. We are proposing that retail workers at Grand Central are either offered free parking or a smaller fee such as $3 a day.
