Perkiomen valley school district is one of the few schools using the freckle math platform. nobody likes this program except for the school board and staff. Many students yearn for this to stop. Freckle is a math platform online that is programmed for students but all it does is take time out of the time we have to do our homework, missed class work, unfinished assignments, and out time to study. It doesn't help with math skills, and we have other math websites like delta math and Xetra math. We don't need three of them and it's pretty pointless since nobody does it, and it stresses us out.

 We have homework. We want to get done before we go home, we don't like homework and when that time gets taken away we have more work to do at home which doesn't just affect students but also parents. They want to relax after a long day of work and then they have to deal with their kids' work which is not right in the slightest. Freckle just causes everyone stresses in the end, sense teachers also need to make sure it's all being done.

This all affects everyone down the chain, but the main defect of this is our mental health. Our mental health is so much more important than people think. Bad mental health can lead to depression, which can lead to no motivation or energy, which can ALSO lead to bad grades, stress on others, bad health, not graduating and then eventually not having the money to support ourselves. This is serious because these are needs in our current world and it's very hard to cure this, especially since people tend to not speak up when their mental health goes downhill.

Now is the time to take action and make a change in this. Multiple students helped write this to please share this with others so our voices can be heard and not ignored. We've all put effort in so let our voices be heard.
