Terrid : adjective 

 extremely bad or serious.

 " A terrid smell"

Similar : terrible, horrible, nasty, awful

It's gone on too far now. It has been too long. 'Terrid' deserves the justice it's brother has - 'Horrid'.

Why should one word get all the lime light? 'Terrid' has been grovelling for years, whilst 'horrid' has been stood at the front of the stage, shining like a blister. 

It's time to modernise the oxford dictionary.
