We're a Hundred Strong

Thank you for supporting the effort to Put the Canadian Flag First! And congratulations on being one of a hundred people who have seen this petition and agree that no other flag should trump the Maple Leaf in its own country. Now is an ideal time to share your support of this patriotic effort with folks you know, and with office-seekers during the federal election. What do your candidates say about putting other flags ahead of Canada's? If they are elected and go to Ottawa, will they support changing the rule so the Canadian flag ALWAYS takes first place? Social media is effective, so post a link to the petition page on your networks (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, et al.) so friends can sign. You'll help others learn about our outdated flag rules that way. Share it on the pages of your federal candidates. Better yet, send an email copy to them so they know what needs to be fixed. In this election season, and the 50th anniversary of the flag, there is no better gift we can give the Maple Leaf--and ourselves--than to ensure it always takes the place of honour. Share with friends, and let's tell Ottawa--and those who want to go there--that no flag should fly higher than Canada's.
