Last year, the inmate roster https://www.co.yamhill.or.us/jailinmate/inmates.php was updated to no longer include pictures of inmates for privacy reasons under -

HB3273 (2021), booking photos of adults in custody may not be released to the general public unless there is a law enforcement purpose for the release (i.e., public safety concerns) or upon conviction

We as residents of Yamhill County would argue that not being able to identify criminals in our community is a public safety concern in itself. We as law abiding citizens should be able to see who is in the jail so that we can identify potential risks that may arise once they are released. Between this and the well-loved Yamco Watch page shutting down, crime has risen in our community. Please put the pictures back on the inmate roster so we can know what the criminals in our town look like.
