Out of all the Mario characters in Smash, Dr. Mario is definitely the worst one. He's just a reskin of Mario who shoots pills, which are just a reskin of normal Mario's fireballs. Some fans say that Dr. Mario should be replaced by Waluigi. And while Waluigi should be in Smash, he can't replace Dr. Mario, and here's why. Dr. Mario represents his own series, the Dr. Mario games. Waluigi doesn't represent his own series. So a better replacement for Dr. Mario would be Paper Mario, because Paper Mario does represent a series. In his games, he has a ton of moves that in Smash, could be unique and fun, and not just a reskin of Mario's moves. It would also give Paper Mario more of an active role in the Smash universe, considering the only things he have in smash are one map, and a few soundtracks. This would also give Paper Mario a better public image, considering his recent games haven't been doing well. And in conclusion, that is why Paper Mario should be in Smash.
