The Issue

Living in Bloomdale, Ohio, means being part of a tight-knit community. For many of us, convenience is key, and having our mail and packages delivered directly to our doors is an integral part of modern life. However, not all residents of Bloomdale have this privilege. Despite paying for postage and shipping like everyone else, some community members are required to drive to Fostoria to pick up their mail due to the lack of individual delivery. This is a significant inconvenience, especially considering the costs and time involved.

The United States Postal Service (USPS) has been making changes, such as getting rid of cluster boxes, which should have improved delivery services for everyone. However, not every resident in Bloomdale is included on the delivery route. This situation is unfair and creates a division in our community. After all, every resident pays postage and expects simple delivery service as part of that cost.

Accessibility is crucial, especially for those who may not have the resources or ability to travel distances just to collect their mail. Families with young children, the elderly, and those without reliable transportation are particularly affected. For people with disabilities, the requirement to drive to another town for basic postal services poses an additional barrier.

We are asking the USPS to take action and ensure that every Bloomdale resident receives equal access to mail delivery services. This change would align postal operations with the community's expectations and needs, promote fairness, and enhance the quality of life for Bloomdale residents.

Please support us in this initiative to make mail delivery accessible for everyone in Bloomdale. Together, we can persuade the USPS to adapt their delivery services and ensure no one is left out. Sign this petition and help us bring change to our community.
