Think about Nintendo consoles. What do you imagine? Fun, friendly, and expressive gaming interfaces. If so, that’s what most others would imagine. We’ve seen that Nintendo is no longer greeting us with unique and beautiful user interface designs. This change in style was very noticeable with the jump from the Wii U to the Switch. The Wii U had a very glossy and colorful interface compared to the flat and minimalistic Switch menus we have today. And with Nintendo showing off the Switch’s sequel in the past couple of months, we’ve now seen that the Switch 2’s menus are going to be just as flat and boring as the original Switch.
