Hi, I am the daughter of a person who is currently suffering by not having 'Bhukki' and I am very sure that each Punjabi who is a permanent addict to it, must be suffering very badly. Because this is the Corona time and all the permanent sweet people are not getting this thing.

What problems these people face in Punjab?
1. They invest all of their earnings in it.
2. Their families always nag about their problem.
3. They start themselves on some fatal medicines which fails their liver or kidney in the later times.

You must be saying that:
wow, it is great, these people will leave this addiction automatically. But no, listen to me, this is not true. My uncle, chacha, first used to have this. But later on, their sons stopped giving it to him permanently, he managed to get some medicines somehow but just after 1 month, he died.

If you will say that these permanent addicted people (who are having it for more than 15 years) must let them hospitalise themselves into the rehabilitation centres. Then let me tell you the bitter truth, my father has already tried to do it from the past 15-20 years and he tried 10-15 times but guess what, he failed!! :(

This is the bitter truth of Punjab that no body talks about because it's a kind of a shame.

Please allow the passes for the permanent addicted people (who are having it for more than 10 years now). Please treat it as a medicine and not like a drug.

I beg you, please save the lives of the Punjabi people who are hopeless.

Writing this kind of petition is not an easy thing for me. I can see my dad laying on the bed and not feeling well.

Main thing is: No normal person can feel the person's situation, only those understand who have it. Even me, I can't understand what's going on into their body. When I asked my dad today that I can't see what is going on into his body then he said, "Watch the Punjabi movie then you will see how person dies without it."

I don't say allow this kind of thing, "Bhukki" but please allow passes for those people who are having it for more than 10 years. Please, please, I beg you.

But I know one thing, Punjabi people who are not getting it today is facing a second Coronavirus in their lives from so many years. I meant to say, they take it as a virus. Please help them out to get out of this virus.

What could be the solution?
Look, each permanent person will be getting a fixed amount of 'poppy husks' every month from a government hospital or government 'poppy husk' centre.  

I am not promoting any drugs in Punjab. This poppy husk is itself a plant just like tea leaves.

I don't want the new generation to get into it that's why I am asking for the "Passes thing".
