Let's be honest, Good Omens 3 divided the fandom into those who liked the ending and those who hated it (myself included). Things might have been different if we'd gotten a full six-episode season instead of one movie that was rushed and poorly written, with all the characters out of character, not to mention the fact that the Jesus/Second Coming subplot contributed nothing to the film's main plot. Arguably, his role (as well as Adam's, whom we only see as a cameo in the final scene in the pub) was much more important and larger in the original script for the third season, written by NG before the scandal forced him to withdraw from the final production. Both the budget and the time allocated for Good Omens 3 were severely limited, which is clearly visible in the finished project (example: the green screen reflected in Crowley's dark sunglasses). That's why I decided to start this petition to gain access to the original script, which is surely still stored somewhere in Amazon/Prime Video's archives.
