It is unethical for John Bolton to refuse to testify in the impeachment inquiry while announcing that he has "significant knowledge" about Donald Trump that could impact the outcome of the hearings.  Yet, he has accepted a $2,000,000 advance to publish what he knows in an upcoming book. 

Simon & Schuster is enticing Mr. Bolton to withhold what he knows for economic gain while the country is being torn in two by an impeachment inquiry, that Mr. Bolton claims to have direct & significant knowledge about.  Mr. Bolton owes the citizens of this country the truth.

It is immoral for ANY book publisher to be willing to profit from a man who refuses to comply with a subpoena to testify about whether or not the President committed an impeachable offense.  Republicans & Democrats alike want to know what occurred.  Rather than testify, Mr. Bolton instead offers "teasers" about what he "claims to know"  both to the media & during paid speeches.  Apparently, this is in an effort to gain interest in his upcoming "tell-all."  

It is clear that, once again, capitolism, is impeding democracy.  Financial gain "trumping" ethical behavior has to stop. Mr. Bolton & the book publisher share mutual responsibility for behavior that is unfitting anyone who served in the Government.  He accepted a tax-payer funded salary to serve the country and has a moral duty to the country was he claimed to serve. 

Please boycott Simon & Schuster until they rescind his book offer OR Mr. Bolton agrees to testify in the impeachment inquiry.
