Some goons with vested interest have encroached upon public land near C. D. Public Inter College, Satrikh Road, Chinhat, Lucknow for their personal use and blocked the only arterial road connecting 100s of families of Nandpur, New Nandi Vihar, and Nandi Vihar colonies of Satrikh Road, Chinhat, Lucknow to Satrikh Road. The road serves as a lifeline for these colonies. The said goons have raised a wall and are now constructing temple in the middle of road to make the encroachment permanent.

The worst comes when 100 armed police personnel guard the illegal construction acting as contractors to prevent the clashes by the affected residents. Visuals and details were shared multiple times with UP CM Yogi Adityanath, PM Narendra Modi, MP Rajnath Singh, DM, CP, DGP, Home Ministry, Municipal Commissioner, Divisional Commissioner, and all concerned, but all remain mute spectators. This is a brazen act of bias, arbitrariness, and lawlessness at the hands of UP government due to which the affected residents and kids have to travel many kilometres extra and use broken roads for their bread butter, commutation, and daily household requirements, which is otherwise at a walking distance. Our government is oblivious of the fact that residents are breaking their bones because of being forced to use alternate broken roads.

I urge the people of my country to sign this petition to awaken our sleeping and corrupt government, and ensure that the illegal encroachment is removed and connectivity fully restored.
