Dear Parole Officers,
Unfortunately, nothing has changed in 2024 with the Public Employees Federation (PEF). The union is still endorsing the same politicians who either sponsored or co-sponsored the “Less is More” parole reform law.

This is contradictory to PEF’s claims that it’s fighting on your behalf against the “Less is More” parole reform law. If that were the case, PEF would not be endorsing the same politicians who sponsored it.
Due to “Less is More,” Edward Kindt of Salamanca, who raped and murdered a woman in 1999 at age 15, was sentenced to seven days for violating parole earlier this summer. That is unacceptable and changes are definitely needed.
Thanks to the United States Supreme Court’s 2018 decision in Janus v. AFSCME, no public employee is required to pay union dues often used to endorse divisive candidates and radical policies instead of protecting employees in the workplace.
