Inmates are being released from prison, some of whom are rapists, murderers, child molesters, etc., and some without even having a chance at parole, because of the concern that they could possibly be infected with the corona virus. These dangerous criminals are being set free and sent home to our communities to live amongst the people they have endangered or very potentially will endanger again in the future because of a fear for THEIR wellbeing. Isn’t prison the safest place for them, and us?? If currently isolated already, with some of the best health care in this country, shouldn’t they be protected from this disease better than we are?  We know that the easiest way to contract COVID19 is by being around others during everyday life. Let’s keep them (and us!) safe by requiring them to stay where they are until their sentences have been served and they are deemed no longer a threat to society!
