veteran's living with C-PTSD,  every day is a nightmare. Medical cannabis has proven to be a lifesaver for me and many others in similar situations. However, being on benefits makes it nearly impossible to afford due to the high cost of living. This medication is not a luxury; it's what many veterans rely on just to get out of bed or suppress bad dreams or just to function like a normal person. many people wont understand the daily struggle a veteran has to go through every day. sapphire clinics is helping veterans get the medication they need. also giving now free consultation's to all veterans  but we need to go further. the medication need's to be free. no point offering a life changing medication and have it out of reach for the people that need it most. many veterans cant work due to trauma, anger and not being able to be around people. load noises and always hyper alert. cannabis can help change that, go to  link below for more information on cannabis as a medication-

It's time we acknowledge the therapeutic benefits of medical cannabis, especially for those suffering from PTSD. According to research published in the Journal of Psychoactive Drugs, 85% of surveyed participants reported some level of relief from their PTSD symptoms as a result of using medical cannabis (Journal of Psychoactive Drugs, 2019). Yet despite this evidence, disabled veterans like myself are left struggling financially just to afford our prescriptions.

We call upon the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and (SSS) Scottish Social Security to take action now. We urge them not only recognize but also address this issue by covering the cost of medical cannabis prescriptions for disabled veterans. It's time we prioritize health over bureaucracy.

Please sign this petition if you believe that no veteran should have to choose between financial stability and their mental health wellbeing.
