This petition is to express our deep concerns regarding the current leadership of our union and to formally request the recall of Lori Cox from the position of President. It is evident that she has failed to fulfill her duties and obligations to represent the best interests of the union membership, and as a result, she no longer has the confidence or support of a significant portion of the membership.

The reasons for this recall petition are as follows:
1.     Failure to Represent Member Concerns: Lori Cox has consistently neglected the concerns and requests of the majority of union members during contract negotiations. Despite repeated attempts by members to voice their needs and preferences, she has failed to adequately advocate for our interests, leading to unsatisfactory outcomes in negotiations.

2.     Disrespect of Union Members: Lori Cox has demonstrated a pattern of disrespect towards union members. Her dismissive attitude and lack of responsiveness to member inquiries and concerns have created a divisive and hostile environment within the union.

3.     Censorship of Freedom of Speech: Lori Cox has infringed upon the fundamental right to freedom of speech by censoring comments in open public chats; Blocking dissenting opinions and silencing constructive criticism undermining the democratic principles upon which our union is founded.

4.     Provision of Misleading Information: Lori Cox provided misleading, false, and uninformed information to voters both prior to and during voting processes. This unethical behavior not only undermines the integrity of our democratic processes but also erodes trust in union leadership.

5.     Refusal to Provide Information: Lori Cox has repeatedly ignored requests from members for information regarding union activities, finances, and decision-making processes. This lack of transparency and accountability is unacceptable and further demonstrates her unsuitability for leadership.
Given these grave concerns, we, the undersigned members of the union, hereby formally request the recall of Lori Cox from the position of President. We believe that her continued leadership poses a significant threat to the welfare and interests of the union membership. We urge the union leadership and governing body to take swift and decisive action in response to this petition, and we stand ready to support the necessary steps to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of our union leadership.
