Save the Provo Corn Maze before it's too late

Provo City is proposing to use eminent domain to acquire part of the McCoard's Farm (384 S 3110 W Provo, Utah) and begin the construction of the Lakeview Pkwy through the McCoard’s property. If the City Council votes to approve the use of eminent domain, then a road will be built that will make it impossible for them to hold their annual Fall Festival which includes a Corn Maze, Zombie Paintball Patrol, a New Zipline, and a Pumpkin Patch. This road will also cause the removal of homes in the way and affect other property owners and family farms all along its path.
At the last Provo City Council meeting held on December 6th, the council narrowly voted to continue the meeting on January 3rd so that more information could be gathered on the Lakeview Pkwy, and review alternative routes for the road.
Our fight is an uphill battle and we welcome your continued support.
Please show your support by learning more about the issues and voicing your concerns to the Provo City Council or show your support by attending the January 3rd City Council Meeting.
