In 2020 kids lives changed. We took away their ability to have a normal childhood. The restrictions implemented for the Covid 19 pandemic took away the advantages of group activities and physical activities in groups while public schools remained open. The consequences of these actions have been huge. They include a degrade in our youths overall physical, mental and emotional health, and a loss of numerous programs that will not be able to sustain the financial loss of the closures and may not be able to start again. 

We have witnessed young people being fined and arrested for playing hockey. For being outdoors with their friends, doing no harm. We have criminalized our youth and children for wanting to play, to exercise, to compete, and to do healthy social and physical activities. All while numerous federal and provincial cabinet members and politicians do whatever they want. We are creating depression within teens that were relying on sports for scholarships,  and have dedicated their whole lives into working towards their goals. We have debilitated them by following these restrictions. 

I believe that these restrictions are un just. They completely contradict the fact that large corporations and large stores are allowed to be open and operate. I Believe that shutting down these programs for much longer will have a horrific detrimental effect on our youth, teens and young children that we as parents, and a society will feel for years to come. I WANT our province to allow all recreational youth activities to proceed.
